Tazne van Wyk's funeral was of the size and beauty that is usually reserved for the likes of huge celebrities and popular politicians as can be seen by the awe inspiring funeral procession in our video as Tazn'e body was transported to the Church where the family, community leaders, politicians and thousands of community members paid their last respects to her.
 

The Funeral Procession was led to the church by Bikers followed by Marching Bands, Cadets, a Brigade, and finally the Motorcade led by the hearse carrying her little coffin.
There were also marchers of various community organisations who followed the motorcade to the United Reformed Church (VGK) in Halt Road, Elsies River.
 
 
Tazne Van Wyk was kidnapped from her home in Connaught Estate on the border of Elsies River & Ravensmead on Friday 7 February 2020. On Tuesday 18 February Poloce confirmed that investigations have led Western Cape FCS Detectives along with Crime Intelligence to Cradock in the Eastern Cape, where they apprehended a suspect and that led to the subsequent discovery of the Tazne's body late the night on Wednesday 19 February.
 
 
The suspect, 54 year old Moehydien Pangaker who according to witness accounts was the last person to be seen with the child is believed to have been hiding in the town. He appeared briefly in court on Tuesday, 18 February 2020 in Cradock on a charge of kidnapping. The suspect was later transported to Cape Town. Further interviewing of the suspect by detectives led to the gruesome discovery of Tazne's body in a storm water pipe outside Worcester on Wednesday evening as pointed out by him. He was be charged with murder and has to appear in the Goodwood Magistrate’s court on Friday, 21 February 2020. The case has been postponed and further investigationds may lead to more charges brought against Pangarker.
