Hi... I'm Gareth Coskey originally from the flats in Newlands East, Durban and this is my story.
We had a hard life growing up but the one thing that always brought us joy was music. Hip Hop would be playing from early hours of the morning until late at night. So it was a culture we grew up with all around us. Music was always there. We listened to the likes of Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre. The DPG. Nate Dogg. Naughty by Nature, NWA.
This inspired us to write and produce music. I now live in Jozi where I moved to give myself a better life. I vowed I will never live poor like that again. God has been good. I am currently working as an area manager for a large multinational clothing retail company but I am glad that I still have the freedom to pursue doing what I love and that is making music which I am hoping you will enjoy.
