There's no denying that comedy is the new hip-hop of our generation that is being used to touch audiences far and wide...and none has traversed the length and breadth of South Africa's comedy underground like comedy veteran Richelieu Beaunoir (seriously...that's his real name).

Originally from Durban, Richelieu has moved to Johannesburg and has been enjoying entertaining the many different crowds that the big city has to offer.
Friendly and easy going, his style is a blend of quick wit, clever observations and a personality that shines through on stage.
With a nomination in Comics Choice Awards in the Audience Choice category, and host of other accolades including being the host of the Proudly Coloured Comedy Show, Richelieu B embarks on his first one man show.
From Where I Stand is an all encompassing story of his life's journey growing up in his hometown, Newlands East.
This is the story of himself as told by himself.
With his sharp wit and quick tongue, Mr B endearingly shares his quirky observations and situational awkwardness through family stories and crazy personal experiences.
A proud Durbanite, his unique style of comedy leaves no stone unturned as he questions and dissects all that he encounters, questioning the every day with a fresh twist.
Unapologetically straightforward, this is a show that promises to leave audiences with a fresh perspective on the things they take for granted.
