Finally, as lockdown levels have been eased, the Virtual World of The Uncle Cal Xperience Meets Reality as Uncle Cal hosts a long-awaited Live Outside Broadcast at the Oude Molen Eco Village in Pinelands on 4 Dec from 2pm to 10pm. As is the custom with most Uncle Cal events, those attending will once again be part of something special to enhance the lives of the less fortunate.

Through Uncle Cal’s partnership with Band Aid SA, attendees will through a Toy Drive tied to this event be helping to bring some much needed Festive Season Joy to the many underprivileged children directly served by NGO’s and Community Organisations that Uncle Cal &Band Aid SA are working with.

Band Aid for Ameen, The Rappin Donkey

It is seldom that an entertainer, over a span of decades, continues to capture the imaginations of not only audiences but also that of other entertainers in a diverse variety of fields and still somehow continues to remain relevant while always evolving.

Not only was and is the originator of the Bruin Man Funk continually evolving but by all accounts Ameen Levy still manages to stick to his core identity as an artist, an entertainer and more importantly, as a person.

Sadly Ameen Levy and his family were struck by the devastating tragedy of losing their home in a fire on 22 September 2021. To help them through this difficult period, and help get the Ameen Levy Foundation back up and running, Band Aid along with Uncle Cal and P-Fore Online are hosting a benefit event for the entertainer who has not only worked with, influenced and paved the way for so many of his contemporaries and those young artists who he has given a platform to, but who has also given joy to audiences and fans all over the country.

So we're doing Tweede Nuwejaar tomorrow, the 4th of January
The sentence it's own irony
Cause it's TWEEDE Nuwejaar for a reason you know
Check your his- and her-story
But keep not noticing how the City side-lines the majority culture
If disregard and exploitation had a face
Cape Town would be that vulture

Cool-Ur Box Spring Edition Heats Up Northern Suburbs

Started in March 2017 Cool-Ur Box is now in its 3rd Edition and it is definitely growing in popularity.
