Amigo se Raak Rustig is 'n Somer Treffer

Woman 2 Woman - A Night With The Stars
When a video of three women covering Beyoncé's hit song “Irreplaceable” in a very unique Cape Flats flavour, aptly titled ‘Stap Links’ caught my attention on social media, I just had to find out what the new Woman 2 show by RBL Productions was all about.
Kamisa Taking Their Brand of Hip Hop To The Top
We recently caught up with Jay P of the brand new group Kamisa for some exclusive insights into how and why the group was formed.
Labelling themselves in broad terms as an Urban Music group, Kamisa consists of members Jay-P, Mr Linx, and Black Athena. As individuals they are no strangers to the Hip Hop community and have been working as emcees, songwriters, and vocalists for over two decades.
Jay P or Jean-Pierre as he is also know has an illustrious trail of number-one radio singles in his capacity as a solo artists as well as with various groups includingSupadan & the legendary Hip Hop crew Black Noise.
So while we were checking out their new video for their first single 'To The Top', which you can check out further below, Bruinou.com asked Jay P how the group came into existence as we are well aware that all three members do have existing music industry careers and individually are quite successful at what they do.
The Devil Made Do It - Dookoom Owns Afro-Punk & Horrorcore
In a world and particularly a country like SA, which has an unnatural and bizarre fixation with mediocrity, to be unique, true to one's self and to the game - DOOKOOM is the absolute antithesis of this sad state of affairs. Isaac Mutant stays true to what is indeed a unique aural feel and texture which is almost unbearably tactile - but in a beautifully delicious way of course.
Che-V says Blow My Horn while She Blows Our Minds
To say that Che-V has star quality would be somewhat of an understatement.
Sometimes we come across an artist who has been making bold moves on the entertainement scene for some time, and we ask ourselves how could we have missed this for so long and more importantly, why is the mainstream still sleeping on this artist?
When Kay-Lee Williams of Vision Music Records introduced us to Che-V and her music, we at Bruinou.com were blown away.
Port Elizabeth Jazz Musician Creshwell October wins US Award
A Port Elizabeth artist whose expansive musical gift has earned him accolades in the R&B, Contemporary Jazz and Gospel Music fields grabbed the attention of Los Angeles based music awards organisation, The Akademia.
We at bruinou.com took some time out to listen to some of Creshwell October's music and watch a few of his videos. We immediately noticed some influences of other great South African Jazz Guitarists like Ernie Smith, Jonathan Butler, Jimmy Dludlu and Allou April but those influences are subtle and understated, which we think is great, because that means Creshwell has evolved a style of his own.
We think Creshwell is definitely on par with some of the best around the world.
